Authorization to Collect Data
The 麻豆原创 is required to ask students and families to complete the student census in accordance with the Anti-Racism Act, 2017, and the Ontario Data Standards, as well as through the direction and requirements of the Ministry of Education. The collection of personal information is under the authority of the Education Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. E.2 and Bill 114, Anti-Racism Act, 2017, complies with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.56, and aligns with the Ontario Education Equity Action Plan.
Confidentiality Statement
The 麻豆原创 (麻豆原创) Student Census is confidential. We respect the privacy of our students and families. Data will be collected in a secure manner in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and best practices. Questionnaires will have unique access codes assigned to them. Data will be stored on internal 麻豆原创 servers and accessed only by authorized 麻豆原创 research staff to analyze the data. Storage and retention of census data will follow聽.
Reports will never single out or identify a student or family and will only be reported in summary to understand the needs of our students and school communities. Reports on the findings will only include findings where there are 10 or more students.
The information gathered will be used for educational and research purposes only.
